I live in ireland and have just found a wild green frog.Lat night it was raining heavy which would obviously draw then out ut at the moment its completely dry so i thouhgt dehydration? gave him water put him in it she livened up a bit but not much and is very fat?bloated looking.She has no use in her back legs and his red eyes with a small wound beneath the eye.Any ideas of what i should do.Could she be pregnant?

I had some strange dreams i was in a place which had a walk way to the right side of a hill and up the top I could see other souls I think standing around in a area which could only be described as closed gates I got scared and walk back down the path way at the end was a pond with the most beautiful color water I stared into it there was this weird white thing swimming in the water I watch it for awhile then reached down and grabbed it and suddenly work up like I had a massive shock. Have had this dream three times the last two time I have head straight for the pond and shock my self back. Another dream which was scary I went to find my child everything was dirty and red and there was these strange looking guards i think they were rounding up what seem to be souls I think. I remember grabbing my child and running and jumping these odd things that looked like trains. Bit worried about last dream which i keep have of being in a green house near a school on a high hill. I keep seeing me hit a guy with a golf club to the head and killing him then hiding his body. I not at all a violent person love nature grow heaps of trees so very odd. Whats your thoughts

We are staying for 10 days in an all inclusive hotel (food and drinks paid for), but we also want to go out every night we are there (we tend to drink alot on holiday) and maybe eat out 5 nights out of the 10 we will be there and also want to visit water park, ephusus and maybe do a jeep safari. Um... so, i was at my college and it was almost around 1 and it was very hot. SO, what happened was that we just got a new Biology teacher and she sort of came and we didn't even knew when she came, really surprising. So, she made everyone do something horrible... sort of horrible. Some boys stood on the chairs, which was very amusing and i had to Stand on the back of the class room, now she started her lecture and before i could knew it, 20 minutes passed and i suddenly felt really weak and i felt like i was falling on the ground. I suddenly held the wall and my breathing rate also increased and i was feeling so hot and bad that i started to cry, then i looked towards the floor, so no one could see me. Soon, i felt so weak that i told my friend that i was going to fall down, she told me to keep quiet. I wen tot the teacher and asked for 5 minutes to go to the wash room. I was on my way when i saw 2 girls drinking water and that was when my throat started to get mote dry. I had just intended to wash my face, but then i felt so weak and i knew that i had to stand again, so i just drank water and started to cry.
You see, i have a problem that whenever i haven't eaten anything and i stand for a long time, i get nauseous, it happens a lot ot me, sometimes during the assembly etc.
SO, i wanted to know what i should do?
I am feeling so bad, i just want to kill myself so badly, i am so stupid. I wish i had not even gone to college, then this wouldn't happen. So, guys what should i do now?

It was a huge risk. The several hundred, if not thousand, people buzzing around her only instigated the furious debate raging in her brilliant mind. Her pale hand took the red passport from her jean’s pocket and she glared at the name imprinted inside the little booklet: Lilly. Hazel eyes scanned the faces within close proximity questioning who was to die. Callous and cold the attitude may be, this mysterious girl in no way indicated nerves or fear; the feeling she couldn’t control was guilt. Guaranteeing the plane would crash was questionable yet Lilly could not help but wonder whose deaths she would be responsible for. A sudden knock caused the young woman to regain her focus as a camera wielding, tubby man barged past her muttering something to the device in his hand. The check in process was boring and mundane as Lilly explained she did not care where she was seated on the plane and faced questioning for her small amount of luggage.
Towering escalators, oddly positioned water fountains, an array of gadget shops and overpriced clothing stores... this London airport bared little difference to any other. The diversity of the manic and frenzied travellers had always fascinated Lilly and she witnessed several arguments, frantic sprinting and hurried shopping on her way to gate seventeen. Once in the penned area, the young woman looked at her passport once again sighing at the new name and date of birth. Too many conflicting thoughts raged in her head as she realised there was no guarantee the plane would even crash and after all, she had completed journeys safely before, why should this time be any different?
With a shudder, the huge ‘BluSky’ aircraft roared to life and crept down the gigantic runway. A makeup clad woman in impractical heels fiddled with the lifejacket over her head as she demonstrated the emergency procedure whilst the pilot informed his passengers of the current schedule. Lilly’s eyes scrutinised every person upon the plane, a few felt unnerved by her constant staring, and there was no denying her heart beat had quickened slightly as the jet rumbled before leaving the tarmac below. Her golden unkempt hair stuck to the glass as she watched the houses disappear from the cold window and began to consider when exactly the crash would occur. Not once could you see apprehension, or any emotion for that matter, within Lilly’s eyes and she always appeared calm yet unapproachable.
A wobbly drinks trolley rolled past several times within the ten hours the plane had been airborne and the revolting smell of aeroplane food swept through the compartments as the neatly packed meals were unleashed. Ten long hours had passed and a fuzzy monitor in the centre aisle denoted the plane had just passed the Maldivian Islands. Two hundred and fifty passengers squirmed restlessly in their seats as a sudden bang dominated the cabin – it was beginning.

He has never slept throughout the night anyway (he goes down at 7 and up around 630 with many wakings) and is teething - number 5, and in a lot of discomfort. All he seems to want is boob. He's also not keen on his own bed either. How often would you expect to use Calpol? Any advice on how to deal with the regular waking? I've not tried the bottle of water yet (I suspect he won't be fooled!), and I'm desperately putting off but seriously contemplating controlled crying. My reservation here is that on the occasions I have left the room with him crying, when I go back in to soothe, he becomes REALLY upset. Anyone else been through this?

I understand that Pressure head is the height of liquid of the same specific weight in a column. However, is the diameter of the column arbitrary?
For example, I see in the textbook that 69kPa difference in water can be expressed in terms of pressure head as 7.04m of water. What if I change the diameter of the column? the height is supposed to change too right?

I am 35 weeks pregnant and I think my water has broken, but I want to make sure before I go to the hospital. I was wondering if, when your water does break, does it have a a smell?
I was sleeping, and woke up feeling wet, as if I wet the bed, but after I got up I smelt a sweetish smell coming from where I had "leaked" and now it seems like I have to use the restroom every few seconds. So my questions are:
#1. does your water have a smell after it breaks?
#2. do you think my water has broken?
Yes I think I am still leaking fluid. Last time I went in for this they acted like I was stupid. But I have already had to stay at the hospital for two days because I was in pre-term labor, and they had to stop it, that was about 3 weeks ago. I think I am also having slight contractions... now I am kind of afraid... I will call my hubby and tell him whats going on, wish me luck!! And thank you all!!!

I know its not an allergic reaction....what happens is that my body suddenly itches at random times...like its usually random and you cant know for sure when it will happen...but if I ever get embarrased even...its not my blushing that bothers me...but a whole spurt of itches over my body. So when I itch....basically that skin portion turns really red...there isnt any bumps or anything...its just really red skin that feels hot if I touch it....I think its my lack of water and/or exercise...but maybe my oily skin contributes to it? the itches are driving me insane! what could it be? how can I solve this?

I want to build a polytunnel in my backyard for growing herbs, vegetables, etc.
Just wondering if it would be rather pointless as the main reason (as far as I can tell) for use would be to keep out the cold, as in England and the like. It does get cold (by my standards), but I don't know if it's cold enough to warrant a polytunnel. I'm about 30 minutes from the city by train, in the south to south-east area. Not by the water or anything either.
I love the idea of being able to keep away the birds and also some of the more harsh rain and wind.
What do you think?
Also, where would I go about finding supplies to build one? Instructions? Premade ones?

What I have so far...my story is going to be about a female dragon named...it'll either be Rainbow, Fiona, or whatever else I can think of...she is white with blue and pink stripes...her powers deal with life, light, and energy. There will be 5 Clans of dragons, each with their own large territories: Each Clan has unique powers: one has fire, one water, one earth, air, and one lightning and weather. My dragon (Fiona/Rainbow) was born into the air Clan, even though she isn't an air dragon.
But then...there is a small space of territory that belongs to the Clan of Shadows; these are the villains of the story.

The officers involved are Frank Hernandez, a 13-year veteran; Steven Rodriguez, a five-year veteran; and Paris Pineda, who also has been on the force for five years, Beck told reporters at news conference at LAPD headquarters Tuesday evening.
Hernandez fired the shots, Beck said. The three officers are assigned to the Rampart Division's bicycle unit.
Beck said the entire incident lasted only 40 seconds and did not give officers much time to asses the threat the man posed. "There was very, very little opportunity to do much more than what was done," he said.
Police revealed photographs of the bloodied knife -- a switchblade that is about 6 inches long when opened -- that they say the victim was holding at the time of the shooting. Investigators are testing the blood to see whose it is, the LAPD said.

he's about 15/16 weeks old and is due for his second round of shots (FVRCP and de-worming). i'm taking him tomorrow. he's normally super hyperactive and driving me insane, i love him nonetheless though. i haven't really seen any signs of lethargy today but...
the weird thing is that just this morning he had diarrhea (cleaned that up right away! peew!) and then i just walked past it and there's two more diarrhea clumps in there! i've only been gone for about 3 or 4 hours. the diarrhea is yellowy-brown in color, no red and no darkness.
he also just threw up. his throw-up was really saliva-y looking (if that makes any sense). mostly clear with a bit of white mixed in. not real watery though, same consistency that saliva would have.
sorry that was really graphic but i'm worried. is there anything i can go get him at the pet store to soothe his apparent tummy ache? is it that he's due for his shots that is making him sick? i haven't changed his food (meaning there's not been any switch in brands or flavors) and he's been eating dry food fine. filled up his water this morning and it looks like he's drank about half of it. i live in a studio apartment and he stays indoors all the time, so i don't know what he could have accidentally eaten. i dont leave things out really (like people food).
i'm just really confused! what's wrong with my kitty? and how can i help him in the short-term, until i get him to the vet tomorrow?

My daughter is going to be 3 this January, 2011. She started coughing about a month ago, I took her to the doctor and they gave her antibiotics for whooping cough because lots of kids in her daycare were getting whooping cough (she was never tested for it). The cough went away but came back. At her daycare, she threw up a little after putting peas in her mouth. Then she tried her milk and threw up a little again. I took her back to the doctor and they gave her medicine to fight bacteria for 10 days. Her cough stopped again, but slowly came back towards the end of the 10 days. When she went back to daycare, she threw up when drinking water, and lots of mucus came out. I took her to the doctor again, and they gave me the same antibiotics for the whooping cough for 5 days again. Her cough went away, but she started coughing again on the 5th day. Today, her teachers at her daycare told me that she almost threw up twice, and then finally she threw up when she was sitting and playing. She didn't eat much that day and wasn't eating or drinking anything at the time. The teacher told me that she just playing and talking to her, then she started whining about her tummy, then pointed to her mouth, and her teacher quickly took her to the trash, and she threw up... like a water gun with force. Her vomit was pink and chunky. My daughter is full of energy and she doesn't cough often, but when she does, it's really deep. The weird thing is that she only throws up at her daycare. She has not once thrown up at home, and there is nothing but the coughing that's wrong with her. I'm taking her to the doctor again tomorrow, might ask them to test her for whooping and allergies. Her coughs before medications were wet, and afterwards were dry. Has anyone had a similar experience to tell me what it is?? Anybody know what could be wrong??

i have this skin condition that i really need to go to a doctor and ask about, but for now i figured i would ask on here. o.k. i get this rash it kind of looks similar to poison oak, or hives and basically i get it all over my body whenever i take a hot shower, or do anything pysically that makes me hot (working out, running, etc.) and if it's hot out. but the weird thing is, it happens then it gos away like 20 or 30 minutes after it happens. but when it happens i get it all over and it looks really gross. also this has only been happening for about the last two years i think. anyway does this happen to anyone else? is there a name for this? is there a pill or something i can take that will make it not happen? also it has happened when swimming in cold water.

here's the thing. I go to the gym 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
And I take pilate classes every day of the week (except Sunday)
and starting next Monday I have dance classes, (Monday and Wednesday
So on Monday and Wednesday my schedule is going to be...
1hr-30mins of working out in the gym
1hr pilates class
2hr dance class (ballet/pointe)
Is this too much exercise? I'm only doing this much only 2 days of the week..
I DO eat lots of food and drink plenty of water..I'm just scared this much exercise is not good for me.. But I do want a nice body..:p
Well, my pilates classes aren't too intense. But My gym workout is, ballet and Pointe takes a heck of a lot out of me..

So lately i have been buying some products for my hair (which is partially african american hair, im mixed with black and white so my hair can be difficult at times) to keep it healthy and promote its growth. I mainly use olive oil and optium care anti-breakage therapy on my hair. whenever i apply any heat to my hair ( which is once a week or every two weeks) i use chi silk infusion as my heat protectant. I maintain a decent diet, i try to get a good amount of protein in every day or every other day for better hair growth and i drink about 2-3 water bottles a day.
I have noticed healthy hair and better hair growth since i started taking a lot better care of hair, but i would just like to know what products if any, could make my hair/scalp healthier for better hair growth, thanks a bunch =)

My male betta has been recently been losing the blue color of his back fin. It has turned a transparent gray color form a blue and red combination. Other then that he has been acting normal eating and active as ussual. I changed the half water today and his tank has a filter. Is he sick?

Okay now I'm the girl who foolishly bought two red blood parrot cichlids now I don't need a lecture on how I made a big mistake on putting them in a 10 gallon tank without knowing that they would be unhappy and so I had alot of good answers from my previous question and thanks but now my focus is that I will by a 55 gallon aquarium tomorrow and someone please give me tips on setting up a 55 gallon tank and my two parrots have been in a 10 gallon for 3 days now and they look stressed and I really wnat to keep them now how long can they live in a 10 gallon tank until I get the 55 Gallon aquarium set up? I don't want to have new tank syndrom so someone please give me tips on that so once I have the 55 gallon tank full of water and filters running how many days until I can place my two fish in it and once I put them in it will they be happy? Ohh sorry about this but like I said pet store guy sold it to me and did not mention this part :S

My cat has been sick for a while now with chronic nasal discharge. I've been taking him to the vet three times a week and he's getting antibiotics, nasal flushes, dental extractions, etc., and will be getting an x-ray soon. Anyway, my cat saw the vet today in fact, but has lost a pound since June. He hasn't eaten much this past weekend and I'm worried. I have tried pouch food, canned food, hard food, hard food with water, etc. Usually he'll eat something, but he hasn't touched his food for two days. I tried feeding him some water with a turkey baster. What sort of liquid food can I force feed him the next little while to keep him nourished? He'll be seeing the vet again in two days but I don't want him losing more weight.
YES my cat was at the vet at 4 p.m. today. My husband took him there to a penicillin shot for the nasal infection. My husband has been taking the cat there three times a week for the past several weeks. My cat was put on fluids once during this time about two weeks ago because of dehydration and they held him overnight. The vet did not think the cat needed fluids today. He suggested warming the canned food, but the cat is still not wanting to eat today, that is why I asked this question. We are taking him back in two days and will do fluids then if necessary. There has been a one pound loss in the past three months so that's why the vet didn't seem too concerned. Don't you dare say I'm not taking care of my cat. I've literally taken the cat to the vet dozens of times in the past three months and I am doing EVERYTHING I can to help this cat.
The vet didn't seem too concerned about the one pound weight loss in the past three months because the cat was overweight to begin with. He also said it was normal to lose some weight with a nasal infection due to the cat not smelling its food. The technician weighs the cat every time we go in so the doctor has a record and we can track any sudden changes. The vet was most concerned about trying a new antibiotic to get this infection to clear up once and for all (it's been recurring and has been very resistant). Then the cat will be able to smell again and will start eating accordingly. He has only been not eating for two days and I have given him water with a turkey baster and tried to give him some gravy from the pouch food. He doesn't like being force fed much. I will try making a soup with the canned food and the baby food will be my next approach. Thanks to MOST of you for your help.

my dell 1545 laptop adapter fell in water
i've been trying to shake the water out but when i plug it in the blue light on the cable flickers and goes off. should i just wait a while for it to dry out or should i get a new one? i jus got this laptop so will dell replace it?
